Rebound Products is the first trampoline manufacturer in the world to develop an extra-large trampoline capable of delivering greater bounce height than a competition-sized trampoline. For 45 years, the Rebound Super Tramp set the standard for the company’s pursuit of the ultimate bouncing machine.

Over 45 Years of Super Tramp Innovation

The Super Tramp is Rebound’s equivalent of Formula One in the automotive world. Development began in 1981, with a focus on pushing the limits of trampoline power, performance and engineering.

Much of the technology developed through this project has also been incorporated into Rebound’s smaller trampolines, wherever competition equipment rules permit.

Larger Bed, Greater Bounce Potential

The Super Tramp features a 10 ft × 20 ft string bed, offering approximately twice the surface area of a conventional competition trampoline bed.

With dimensions approximately 42% larger in each direction, the design theoretically allows an athlete to reach 42% greater bounce height by depressing the bed further while maintaining the same maximum bounce force.

The larger jumping surface is paired with an appropriately sized target and thicker protective frame padding.

Exclusive Open-Weave String Bed

Achieving greater bounce height on an extra-large trampoline is challenging because the larger bed and additional spring weight can increase energy losses.

Rebound addresses this through its exclusive one-piece, 1-by-1 open-weave string bed, designed to provide exceptionally high airflow and reduce resistance during jumping.

According to Rebound’s development experience, the Super Tramp has achieved bounce height increases of up to 30% compared with conventional competition trampolines.

Continuing Super Tramp Development

Rebound pioneered the development of extra-large trampolines capable of producing greater unassisted bounce height than competition models. A subsequent design featuring a square bed was developed with lower power.

Other extra-large trampolines have emerged in recent years. In fall 2026, Berg developed a one-off large trampoline with greater bounce performance, using a custom bed manufactured by Rebound Products.

This ongoing development reflects Rebound’s continued involvement in advancing high-performance trampoline equipment.

The 10 × 20 ft Super Tramp String Bed is designed for use with 156 Rebound custom-designed Super Tramp Springs.
