Our beds are still all handwoven on our looms; there is no automation applied. The hours of work and the materials we use make our beds stand out. The highest quality of workmanship and techniques make the Rebound String beds long-lasting and the most powerful beds to jump on. We manufacture our own strings, and with our secret design of materials, this sets us apart from other brands.
As much as we would like to say that they will last forever, nothing lasts forever. Our trampoline beds can last as long as 15 to 20 years if taken care of properly. Beds that are subject to outdoor elements tend to not last as long as ones that are indoors. Beds can be repainted every 4 years. This gives your bed a new seal on the strings and will help with longevity.
We recommend for beds that are used outdoors that a tarp be thrown over them when not in use, as this will help keep the UV rays from breaking down the strings. Our beds are painted with a 100% acrylic latex enamel exterior paint with UV protectant at a 50% water to 50% paint ratio.
Most frames will fit one of the many size beds we carry. But we ask many questions to make sure that the frame will fit and also support the tensions of the bed and springs together. Additionally, we want to ensure the bed is suitable for the application you are seeking.
As an example, consider the following:
- What type of frame do you have?
- What are the inside dimensions from spring hook to spring hook?
- What type of bed do you currently have? (string, webbed, black polypropylene)
- What is the height from ground to jumping surface?
- What type and size of springs do you currently have?
We ask these questions so we know which frame you have and what bed is right for your frame.
Another reason we ask these questions is to make sure that the frame is strong enough to support the tension of the springs with the power of the bed and the person jumping. Some frames on the market are not strong enough or high enough off the ground to be safe to put our bed and springs on.
Note that we carry several styles and brands of 2-string beds:
- 7x14 2-String Euro sized bed with 118 spring points as well as 122 spring points
- 7x14 2-String Nissen sized bed with 112 spring points
- 7x14 2-String bed for the Acon 16 and AlleyOOP frames with 120 spring points
- 6x12 2-String bed that fits a Nissen frame and Euro frame with 96 spring points
- We also carry many sizes of black polypropylene beds and Power Track, as well as DMT beds.
As you can see, we want to make sure that all our customers get what they need for the frames they have. If a situation occurs in which we cannot help them directly, then we point them in the right direction to find what they require.

The FIG markings are not necessary for at-home use. You can use a bed with markings on it or without. The FIG markings on a bed are for competitions. These markings are how the judges score routines. Also, the markings help the athletes know where they need to be on the bed in order to score points in competition.
Beds can be plain or have an X in the centre. The markings allow the athlete or user know where the centre of the bed is because that is where the best bounce comes from.
Yes, a bed can be easily installed on a trampoline. This is best completed with 2 people.
Here are some handy tips for installation:
- The best way is to attach a short end at both right and left corners. Then attach the opposite end at the right and left corners. You now have 4 springs to hold the bed off the ground.
- Then find the centre spring point on both long sides and put the spring on.
- From there, you and the other person work across from each other, putting spring-for-spring on, starting from the centre spring and moving to the corner springs, from the left side to the right side, or vice versa.
- Repeat the same procedure for the short sides.
- This procedure allows you to save your arms from the spring tension. If you were to put all the springs on one side first and then move to the other side, you would be fighting against 39 springs on the long side of the bed that have 39 lbs of tension per inch of stretch. This is not recommended.
- The best string on a 10” spring is between 14” and 15” in length.
Rebound Products offers a 1-year manufacturing and workmanship defect warranty on all products.
To keep the bed looking new and to help with its longevity, the following procedure is recommended:
- First, wash the bed with cold water and Dawn dish soap. Then brush with a soft bristle brush and rinse with cold water. (If possible, it is best to wash the bed while it is on the frame.)
- Let the bed dry completely before painting.
- The paint used should be 100% acrylic latex enamel exterior paint semi-gloss at a ratio of 50% water to 50% paint.
- If you use markings, tape them off and paint in red with a small amount of water. Let dry.
- Tape over the markings, and for the remainder of the bed, roll the paint on with a low pile roller on the top and bottom.
- Let the paint dry and remove the marking tape.
Outdoor Trampolines:
For trampolines used outdoors, it really helps if you throw a tarp over them when they are not in use. This helps with the life of the bed.
In snowy conditions over the winter months, we recommend that you take the bed off of the frame for the season and store it where mice cannot get at it. Rodents are attracted to the strings, so be sure to keep the bed safe.
If you are using the bed during the winter months, it’s good to keep the snow load off the bed. Failure to do this would stretch out both the bed and the springs, and you would be replacing them more often.
We have exclusive products that are manufactured with relentless design and a high quality of Canadian-made materials. The workmanship put into every bed we make is remarkable. Our prices reflect this, and our beds are competitively priced compared to other beds on the market. What makes Rebound Products’ string beds the best value for the money is the performance level achieved.
